Self-discovery is always work that is never quite finished. And it always feels like there is much room for improvement. In this journey of putting out new designs, I’m always challenged to truly embrace the process, and share ideas “at the moment”, of what our inner world looks like. We had worked tirelessly for the past five months, and I am very much excited to lift the curtains on our second collection, “SPECTRUM”.
It’s timely, because it’s November, as we enter right into the Scorpio season, typically a period associated with intensity and reaching into the depths of your emotional world. November also marks our 6th Anniversary, and how apt would it be to look back at our milestones? When we first debuted six years ago, we were working on solely custom commissioned shirts and suits, masculine leaning clothing, adapted for women. But that has since evolved greatly, and every year we’d take on new projects that challenged my idea of what designing clothing beyond the realms of tailoring could look like. It truly hit me like a tidal wave, that we could be so much more... There was so much inertia, and I was aching for this “tension” to travel out of my system and meet the world. And here we are, six years on, two collections in.
Through our journey, this juxtaposition of the feminine and masculine has always taken center stage, and it continues to be. “SPECTRUM” represents exactly just that, as we reach towards the depths of two ends, highlighting my growing inclination towards the hyper feminine, laced with a dose of boyish charm.

True to our core principle of movement, comfort and strength, the collection takes its form in looser, but straighter silhouettes. Each design features a form of pleating, colour block or metallic finish, that aims to represent the very same layers and dimensions of each person’s inner universe and juxtaposed spectrum.
And in the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, we’ve incorporated a curation of brighter colours, but as always, with a wearable sensibility. The collection features twice the amount of offerings and colourways from our debut collection, “ARC”, and we hope you’ll be able to find a piece that speaks to you.
One of the pieces close to my heart is the “HANNEI” Overall Dress. It edges a lot harder into my tolerance and exploration of my feminine dressing, and is the only style that features a black colourway for the Wednesday Addams in all of us.
For context, “HANNEI” (反映) is the Japanese term for “reflection”, and the reflective parts of the pleated skirt portion reflects just that. The “HANNEI” series also features a two-way skirt, and I just love the versatility of this one. It comes in a Silver Metallic Seersucker as well, which is a limited edition fabric, from HOKKOH Japan.

The other piece that excites me is the “KAGAMI” (鏡) vest, which translates to “mirror” in Japanese too. The vest is a 2-way, unisex piece that literally mirrors as you flip it to the other side, and the colour pairings were also considered for varied styling options too.

Lastly, keep your eyes peeled for our first ever staple items, with our “KUMO” Muscle Tank, interlaced with a little tulle trimming, and fun coloured, crew and knee-high socks for you to have fun styling yourself across our “SPECTRUM”. We hope it inspires you to embark on your own journey of self-exploration through our universe.
Before I close off, here's a little playlist that's accompanied me while in the making of this collection. It features a pre-dominantly female line-up, and I pay the biggest homage to Björk as always, who I find always inspiring through the music and imagery she makes. Her songs from the “Biophilia” album and the sounds of the harp on "Moon" and "Virus" really inspired my feminine touches this time, along with the incorporation of metallic fabrics. Highlights also include Sophie’s “It’s Okay To Cry” because it simply is ok to (!!!) and Charli XCX's “Apple”, charged with a Lorde “Supercut” remix. I guess the apple always doesn't fall far from the tree, I'm female after all alright hah. I'm finally edging into the 33-year woman I am, I think?
